Lettered in football and track... Led the 1974 football team in scoring, with 36 points, and set a record with a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown... Qualified for the 60-yard dash at the 1974 NCAA Indoor Track Championship... Led the 1975 football team in rushing with 634 yards and was Co-Most Valuable Player... Selected in the seventh round of the 1976 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders... Played four seasons in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints, and one year each with the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions... Played two seasons in the United States Football League with the Michigan Panthers... Helped lead the Panthers to the USFL title and was a second-team All-USFL pick.
