Outstanding track athlete from 1938-42... Graduated from the University of Chicago in 1943... Set a world record of :07.2 in winning the 60-yard hurdles at the 1942 Millrose Games in New York... Also held the 45-yards school hurdle record... Defeated the Big Ten champion at the Millrose Games... Served in the U.S. Army in chemical warfare... Became an instructor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado... Chief of the U. of Colorado medical research laboratory... At the time of his death he was the only nuclear biomedical physicist in Colorado.
