Head Softball Coach from 1987-1996; Finished as EMU's all-time leader in wins with a 269-254-2 record over nine seasons; Led the team to a pair of runner-up Mid-American Conference finishes in 1988 and 1990 while earning Mideast Regional Coach of the Year honors in 1988; Teams collected regional rankings in 1988, 90, 91 and 94 with the 88 and 91 squads being nationally ranked; Under her tutelage, Melissa (Drouillard) Bater was named MAC Player of the Year in 1996 while Angie Fielder earned All-American honors in 1988; In addition, Miner had nine Mideast regional selections, 18 All-MAC selections and 22 Academic All-MAC selections; Coached many EMU Hall of Fame athletes including: Nanette Push, Angie Fielder, Melissa (Drouillard) Bater, Sara Seegers, Marci Kelley, Dawn (Godfrey) Heck, and Linda Milholland; Currently, serves as the head softball coach at Oakland University leading the Golden Grizzlies to the program's first Horizon League regular season and tournament title in 2015 and going on to NCAA postseason play; Also served as head coach at UC Riverside (2004-12) and San Jose State (1997-00) along with assistant head coaching duties at North Carolina (2002-03) and UC Riverside (2000-2002)
