Men’s Golf: Graduated in 2006; Four-year letter-winner for the men’s golf team from 2002-2006; Ranks second in school history in scoring average at 73.46 posting 9,403 strokes in 128 rounds; Won the 2002 Michigan Amateur Championship at Jackson Country Club; Competed in three US Amateur Championships (2002, 2003, 2005), US Public Links Championship (2005) and the British Amateur Championship at St. Andrews (2004); making it to the Sweet 16 in both the US Amateur and US Public Links in 2005; Selected as the Men’s Player of the Year by the Golf Association of Michigan in 2003; Two-time Mid-American Conference First Team selection and Academic All-MAC (2005 and 2006); MAC Golfer of the Year in 2006; Two-time Academic All-American (2005 and 2006); Two-time NCAA Qualifier (2005 and 2006); Held the school record for season scoring average with 72.2 set in 2005; Finished career with four tournament victories, four top-five showings and six top-10 finishes in his career; Ranks in the top-10 of EMU’s all-times records several times including, two-round tournament scores, three-round tournament scores, season scoring average, season win-loss percentage, career scoring average and career win-loss percentage; Won the 25th Annual Tournament of Champions Title at Boyne Mountain in 2016 (64).
