Teamed with Mary Smith to win the 1986 and 1987 Mid-American Conference No. 1 doubles championships... Won the MAC title at No. 2 singles in 1987... Finished runner-up in the MAC at No. 3 singles in 1985, in No. 2 singles in th86 and No. 1 singles in 1988... Named All-MAC four times... Was the recipient of the Leann Davidge Sportsmanship Award at the MAC Championships as a junior... Has served EMU as a board member of the Alumni Association and won the Young Careerist Award from the Business and Professional Women (BPA) in 1989... Writes music and had one song published by Detroit recording artist Keith Washington.
