One of the greatest football players in Eastern Michigan history...Helped lead the resurgence of football during his four-year varsity career from 1984-87...Was the quarterback on the 1987 team that won Eastern's first Mid-American Conference football championship...Turned in an outstanding effort at the California Bowl in 1987 to direct Eastern to a 30-27 upset win over a highly favored San Jose State University team...Still ranks in the top three in most passing categories...Finished his career with 364 completions on 655 attempts for 4,757 yards and 26 touchdowns...Was named first-team All-Mid-American Conference in 1987 and second-team in 1986...Went on to play professional football in Europe from 1989-1990 and 1994-96 and his Italian League team won the FIAF Superbowl title twice...Also played Arena football in the United States and was on the Detroit Drive team that won the 1992 Arena Bowl title...Completed work on his EMU education degree in 1994 and has coached and taught high school at Taylor Center, Melvindale and Wyndotte...Currently the offensive coordinator for the Wyandotte High School football team.
