Outstanding swimmer for EMU from 1977-81...Captain of the team as a senior in 1981 and won three events, the 1,650 freestyle, the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle, while also swimming on three winning relays at the Mid-American Conference Invitational...Was named MAC Swimmer of the Year in 1981...Also qualified for the NCAA National Championship at the University of North Carolina...Helped the team to a runner-up spot at the 1980 Mid-West American Intercollegiate Athletics for Women...Meet in Ann Arbor and won the 500 freestyle, the 1,650 freestyle and swam on the winning 400-yard medley relay team...Won the 100 freestyle at the 1978 MAIAW Regional meet...Captured 20 first-place finishes in the 1978 season, finishing no lower than second in any individual race.
