Outstanding track performer for EMU... Earned All-America honors in the long jump at the 1981 Association of Intercollegiate Athletics or Women (AIAW) indoor championships when she finished sixth... Became the first Michigan women's collegiate performer to long jump 20 feet... Won the long jump in the 1979, 1980, and 1981 Mid-American Conference outdoor championships... Won eight individual titles in the 1079, 1980, and 1981 MAC Invitational meets... Named Outstanding Athlete of the 1981 MAC indoor meet after personally scoring 41 ½ points, winning the 60-yard dash, 60-yard hurdles, 300-yard dash, and long jump... Established six individual varsity records and ran on eight relay teams that set EMU records... Led EMU in season-high points scored three times... Won the long jump at the Dogwood Relays, AIAW Midwest Regional, and was runner-up at the Drake Relays... Was a member of EMU's scholar-athlete honor roll in 1980 and 1981.
