Earned six varsity letters, four in football and two in baseball... Served Eastern Michigan as a player, coach and E-Letterwinners Club president... Assistant football coach at EMU from 1950-1951... Coached and taught at Highland Park High School from 1952-64... Returned to EMU in 1964 as an assistant football coach... Assistant basketball coach at EMU from 1964-66... Named EMU's head football coach in 1965 and served through 1966... Coached and taught in high school before joining Highland Park Community College as a registrar and director of admissions, a position he held for more than 30 years before retiring... Charter member of the EMU Football Bust Committee as well as the EMU Dugout Club.
