Olds with the intramural department... Credited with originating the game of paddleball in 1930... Was athletic director and football, basketball, and baseball coach at Ypsilanti Roosevelt Laboratory School... Went on to become athletics director at Ypsilanti High School and then City of Ypsilanti recreation director... Became the assistant intramural director in 1941... Author of several books on sports officiating... Inducted into the Michigan Amateur Sports Hall of Fame in 1975.
