Amanda Kulikowski immediately displayed greatness, being named the MAC Newcomer of the Year in 1998 along with first-team All-MAC picks. Amanda’s success continued when she was named first-team All-MAC in 1999 and 2000, and second-team All-MAC in 2001. Off the field, Amanda excelled as well. She was an Academic All-MAC pick in 2000 and 2001. She earned both the Verizon Academic All-American University division second team and fourth district selections in 2001, along with College Scholar Central Region third-team pick honors. Amanda’s legacy continues to this day. Her record of 12 assists in 1999 is still the best in school history. She also had 31 career assists, which is the most ever by an Eagle. In addition, Amanda sits in second overall for number of goals and points, totaling 35 goals to score 121 points for her team. She has three top 10 single-season efforts in points alone. With her dedication and great leadership, Amanda helped lead the team to its first-ever MAC regular-season and MAC Tournament titles, culminating in the first NCAA postseason tournament appearance for Eastern Michigan.
