Enjoyed an outstanding career as a women's basketball player at Eastern Michigan University...Earned four varsity letters from 1982-86...Led the team in scoring as a sophomore, junior and senior...Finished her career as the second-leading scorer in school history with 1,459 points...Also ranks in the top 10 in several other career categories, including third in career scoring average (14.7), second in field-goals made (619), ninth in free throws made (221), ninth in free-throw percentage (.725), seventh in assists (236) and fourth in steals (231)...Also ranked in several single-season areas, including third in field-goals made (218 in 1986), eighth in free-throws made (85 in 1986), and fifth in steals (75 in 1986)...Named second-team All-Mid-American Conference in 1985-86, honorable mention All-League in 1984-85 and was named MAC Player of the Week twice, Feb. 11, 1985, and Jan. 13, 1986...Serves as a volunteer basketball coach at YMCA, Summer Leagues and Washington Schools.
