Outstanding wrestler at Eastern Michigan University from 1985-89... Became just the second wrestler in school history to earn NCAA Division I All-American honors when he finished fifth at 158 pounds in the 1989 NCAA Championships, the highest ever by an EMU wrestler at the Division I level... Was the Mid-American Conference champion at 158 pounds in both 1988-1989... Recorded the fourth-most wins in EMU single-season history when he accumulated 36 in 1988-89... Finished fourth in the MAC at 150 pounds in 1985-86... Earned four varsity wrestling letters... Served as captain of the team for three years... Member of Athletes in Action Eastern European Team in the summer of 1988... Has coached high school wrestling for many years and is involved with the Brighton kids program.
