Turned in an outstanding career for the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team...Earned four varsity letters from 1986-90...Led the team in scoring in three consecutive seasons and finished her career with 1,425 points and a Mid-American Conference record 371 career steals...Named first-team All-Mid-American Conference in 1989-90 and was also an All-MAC Academic honorable mention selection that same year...Was named MAC Player of the Week twice during her career, once in 1988 and again in the 1989 season...Selected honorable mention All-MAC in 1988-89...Finished third in the nation in free-throw percentage in 1989-90 when she made 82-of-90 for a shooting percentage of .911...Ranks No. 1 in EMU career free-throw percentage at .865 (282-326) and leads in steals at 371...After graduating in 1990 she played one season of professional basketball in Ireland (1990-91)...Taught in Houston (Texas) for six years before becoming a firefighter for the City of Houston...Is the co-president of the Houston Women's Basketball Association.
